Potty Training Expectations

We believe in fostering independence and self-sufficiency in children, which includes the process of potty training. While we understand that every child develops at their own pace, we expect parents to take the primary role in potty training at home.

For children aged three and up, we require that they be potty trained before enrolling in our program. We recognize that some children may still be in transition, and in those cases, we provide support during the school day. However, the responsibility for completing the potty training process rests with parents.

Our role is to reinforce what has already been practiced at home, ensuring consistency for the child. We encourage families to establish routines, provide positive reinforcement, and set their children up for success before they begin school. If a child is still working on mastering their potty training skills, we will assist them as needed, but our expectation is that they are well on their way to full independence.

By maintaining this approach, we create a comfortable and prepared environment for all children, allowing them to focus on learning, exploration, and social development without unnecessary disruptions.

If you have any questions about our potty training expectations, we’re happy to discuss them further and offer guidance on best practices to support your child’s success.
